Fit Millers scheme returns

Coronavirus - stay alert to stay safe

Rotherham United has confirmed that it is once again delivering the FIT FANS scheme this year, with face-to-face sessions resuming from this week.

Fit Fans is a 13 week programme for men and women aged between 35 and 65 who are looking to lose weight and embark on a more positive lifestyle.

The programme is delivered on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6.00pm-7.30pm at AESSEAL New York Stadium for women and men respectively.

Each week the group will work through 45 minutes of discussion topics including healthy eating, activity, hydration and alcohol followed by a further 45 minutes of activity. These sessions are tailored to those new to exercise, or to people who are looking to get back into a work-out routine.

The project is aimed at football fans, meaning all aspects of the session are delivered within the AESSEAL New York Stadium with fellow Millers supporters. The project includes a behind-the-scenes stadium tour, a visit from a first-team player and two free tickets to a Rotherham United game.

If you have a BMI of 28 or more, or a waist circumference of over 38 inch (men) or 31 inch (women), get in touch today at fitmillers@rotherhamunited.net.

If you want to find out more about how to make sustainable lifestyle change, go behind the scenes at your club, learn about healthy eating and take part in an exercise programme, you can find your local FIT FANS session at www.rucst.co.uk
