Gulliver’s Valley has joined forces with pub entertainment supplier, Redtooth, to host an interactive virtual quiz night in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice this Thursday (18 June).
The management team behind Gulliver’s Resorts have partnered with Barlborough-based Redtooth as part of their work developing the new Gulliver’s Valley park in Rotherham and building links with local suppliers and the community.
The quiz evening will take place live on the recently launched ‘Gulliver’s TV’ YouTube channel – home to a newly unveiled animated series called ‘Gully’s Toon Time’, which follows the adventures of the theme parks’ mascots – the Gully Gang.
The first prize will be a sleepover for up to six at a Gulliver’s location of the winner’s choice, plus theme park tickets.
Second and third place winners will receive a family ticket for up to six people, at a location of their choice.
Julie Dalton, managing director of Gulliver’s Resorts, said: “It’s great to have partnered up with Redtooth to host our first ever online quiz night on our new YouTube channel, working with our neighbours in Rotherham to bring families together nationwide for an evening of fun.
“While we aren’t yet able to open our sites, this is a great initiative to keep Gulliver’s fans everywhere entertained and in touch with us, while we work hard to put in place new and exciting ways to deliver fun experiences at our parks, in line with the latest government guidance around physical distancing measures.”
The quiz evening will use Redtooth’s new SmartQuiz technology – a new technology which allows players to play together both online and in venues, using their smart devices.
Tim Smithies, creative director at Redtooth, said: “We’re having a good time putting together a special quiz for our friends at Gullivers – lots of stories, characters and more to work with – it’s going to be live and interactive fun for all the family!”
The online quiz will be hosted live on Gulliver’s YouTube channel at 6:30pm, Thursday 18 June, at: https://bit.ly/3hcjNsI
