South Yorkshire’s newest theme park, Gulliver’s Valley, has announced the return of day-time sessions aimed just for younger children.

Now that indoor attractions have been given the go ahead to open, Gully Town Tots, which proved to be really popular when introduced last year, gives toddlers and pre-school children access to the Gully Town indoor play areas and mini farm.

The sessions, which must be pre-booked, will run from 10am to 2pm in term times on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 7 June.

Customers will be able to enjoy a host of activities including Gully Town play buildings, a triple-storey soft play area, treetop drop ride, melody mayhem ride, junior Carousel ride, Gully’s Golf and Gully Town Grand Prix driving school.

In addition, the Curiosity Café will be open for refreshments and some special activities are set to be introduced such as socially-distanced character meet and greets, including from the Very Hungry Caterpillar.

All other indoor and outdoor attractions and rides at Gulliver’s Valley will not be available during these times.

Ross Partridge, guest experience and entertainment manager at Gulliver’s Valley, said: “We are really excited to be running our Gully Town Tots sessions once again. Before lockdown they proved to be extremely popular with parents and carers looking for a new and exciting place to bring their little ones.

“Here at Gulliver’s, we’re always looking to find new ways to engage with our young customers and to give them the opportunity to play and have fun in a safe and comfortable environment and we are sure our customer will be excited to comeback and enjoy what Gully Town and our mini farm has to offer.

“There are also plans to run the sessions after the summer break during school term time as well as the possibility of Gully Town Tots sleepovers when restrictions ease further so watch this space!”

Guests can arrive at any time during the session and stay for as long as they want up to 2pm. Costs are £8 for children and £2 for adults but the sessions are free to passport ticket holders.
