As part of the activity Gulliver’s Valley will launch its brand-new education and residential programmes to headteachers and children’s group leaders.
In addition, guests will be able to explore the South Yorkshire theme park and find out about ways that their school, group or organisation can work with Gulliver’s Valley and its partners.
Other providers attending include Rother Valley Country Park, Magna, Grimm & Co, Kickabout Football Centre, Wentworth Woodhouse, Sheffield Cable Water Ski, Butterfly House, On Time Travel along with Workwise, Forge CPD and The Children’s University.
Adam Bliss, from Gulliver’s Valley, said: “We are looking forward to opening our doors to education and group leaders to showcase what Gulliver’s Valley and the other attractions can offer to their school or organisation such as overnight stays, day visits, reward trips or education-led sessions.
“This will be a one stop shop and a great opportunity to see what some of the best providers in the region can offer to young people. The event is free and we hope as many schools and group leaders will attend.”
Alongside Gulliver’s Valley’s Educational Programmes, the resort will also be offering a Bushcraft Programme giving young people get a taste of what it is like surviving in the outdoors, along with programmes developed especially for badge, community and sports groups.
Adam added: “We offer day visits and residential and overnight stays suited to every budget from an indoor camping experience, perfect for Brownies, Scouts and school groups to en-suite accommodation for either one or multiple night stays. In addition, the theatre space is perfect for presentation nights, team meetings and corporate events.”
The event, which is on Thursday 23September 2021 between 1pm-7pm is FREE for education leaders, groups including Brownies and Scouts and Sports Group leaders, if you would like more information please contact Adam Bliss on firstname.lastname@example.org.
