The Rotherham NHS Superheroes campaign has now raised over £10,000 and many donations of gifts and messages of support continue to be received. All your generosity and messages of support are gratefully received and do help the morale of our colleagues.

Please maintain the social distancing guidelines until any changes are announced as it has certainly helped the NHS manage the demand on its services.

As of 8am on Wednesday 6th May we have treated 371 covid-19 patients and 50 are still in hospital. 33 inpatients are awaiting their test results and 212 have recovered from the virus.

Sadly 118 patients with the virus have died at the hospital. Our thoughts are with their families, friends and loved ones at this time.

Coronavirus - stay alert to stay safe

NHS ‘open for business ‘ campaign continues to promote permission for people to access NHS services when there is an urgent need to do so.

If you need medical help you should still contact your GP practice , use NHS111 online or call 111. If you are told to go to hospital it is important that you go to hospital.
